We are looking for a: Senior Purchasing Specialist to join our Purchasing team
What you'll do
Develop, approve, and manage supplier relationships, with a special focus on local manufacturers and suppliers in China, including the launch, follow-up, and evaluation of RFQs/RFPs.
Negotiate with Chinese suppliers regarding commercial and contractual terms (prices, Incoterms, delivery times, payment terms, warranties, and responsibilities), ensuring the best supply strategy.
Coordinate and undertake travel to China for supplier evaluation, negotiation meetings, manufacturing follow-up, and the strengthening of business relationships.
Coordinate QA/QC activities for BESS equipment, working jointly with Engineering, Quality, and suppliers to guarantee compliance with technical specifications and quality standards during manufacturing and inspection.
Analyze and compare technical-commercial offers, in coordination with the Engineering and Project Management teams, ensuring the selection of the most competitive solution.
Prepare awards and formalize contracts and orders, including their management in Business Central.
Coordinate the purchasing process with Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Finance, Legal, Commissioning, and Logistics, ensuring correct execution and transfer of information.
Manage Corporate indirect procurement, guaranteeing the efficient contracting of goods and services necessary for the various areas of the company.
Guarantee traceability and documentation of purchasing processes, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, audit requirements, and compliance policies.
