The role
The Abat Oliba University is looking to hire a Knowledge Transfer Office Technician with the aim of strengthening the implementation of research and knowledge transfer initiatives and managing them, particularly within the framework of the Regions del Coneixement program.
The selected candidate will join a dynamic and collaborative environment, taking part in both the operational management and the strategic development of research and transfer projects. Their work will combine technical management, coordination, and the promotion of transfer ecosystems.
What you'll do
Development of research and knowledge transfer initiatives.
Identification, protection, and valorisation of research results.
Economic and financial management of projects, including monitoring, reporting, data entry into SIFECAT, and preparation of technical and financial reports for FEDER co-financing.
Liaising with institutional bodies.
Participation in the design and implementation of monitoring systems, as well as the preparation of follow-up and impact reports.
Support in securing funding for R&D&I projects.
Initiative and support in building collaborations with public administrations, social stakeholders, and the productive sector.
Promotion and dissemination of activities, including citizen science actions.
Support for university entrepreneurship processes resulting from knowledge transfer.
Participation in the management of agreements and contracts related to transfer projects.
Experience
Previous experience in project management, knowledge transfer, or business development, preferably in university environments.
Knowledge of regional, national, and European funding programmes (e.g., RIS3CAT, FEDER).
Skills
Analytical, problem-solving, and proactive skills, as well as initiative.
Communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
Strong motivation and results-oriented mindset.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (academics, public administrations, and the socio-economic fabric).
