About the role

Your role:

As a Revenue Management Pricing Analyst, your main objective will be to maximize Iberia's RASK by defining, implementing and continuously optimizing pricing strategies, structures and tactical actions related to the assigned functions and geographic areas.

Ensure a competitive and coherent pricing proposal across all markets, cabins, customer segments and distribution channels, balancing revenue opportunities, customer value and competitive positioning.

What you'll do

Your challenges:

  • Define and implement pricing strategies for markets, routes, O&Ds and cabins within the assigned scope, considering the global network context and the overall commercial strategy.
  • Optimize fare structures, price levels and differentials between markets and cabins to maximize revenue while maintaining a competitive and coherent customer proposition.
  • Proactively identify pricing opportunities and risks through detailed analysis of market performance, competitive positioning, customer behavior and demand changes, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinate pricing strategies with Revenue Management Demand and other relevant analysts to ensure alignment between demand forecasts, inventory availability, pricing structures and tactical revenue management actions.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor pricing, market positioning, performance by point of sale, traffic mix, distribution channels, customer segmentation, fare families, ancillary strategies and other commercial variables that impact pricing decisions.
  • Analyze and optimize prices by customer segment, channel and point of sale, ensuring an effective balance between revenue maximization, competitiveness and customer value.
  • Support the development and implementation of pricing methodologies, including price differentiation, fare family architecture, rules and conditions, market segmentation and new pricing capabilities.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills, including the ability to gather information, extract facts, identify pricing trends, formulate logical conclusions and present clear recommendations.
  • Proactively identify and escalate challenges, strengths and opportunities, driving solutions within the department and across the organization; present key findings to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work from a very specific level of detail up to an overall view, obtaining insights to identify specific pricing issues as well as broader market, competitive or regional opportunities.
  • Manage key projects and revenue management and commercial initiatives: coordinate tasks, lead meetings and decision plans, and coordinate cross-functionally to meet business needs.
  • Lead and contribute to the transformation of the pricing function within revenue management in line with industry evolution and best practices in areas such as customer segmentation, fare families, retailing, continuous pricing, dynamic pricing, distribution strategies, automation, machine learning and other advanced pricing capabilities.

Your knowledge

  • Degree or technical training in engineering, business, economics or similar
