Requirements

What we're looking for

Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional nights.
Experience in vehicle, trailer, or goods inspection in port/logistics environments.
Proficiency with smartphones, photography, and registration applications.
Knowledge of CMR, seals, and cargo documentation.
Own vehicle to access the port.

The role

From the Barcelona delegation, we are looking for a Port Operations Controller to work for an important company in the logistics-port sector located in the Port of Barcelona.

What you'll do

The selected person will be responsible for the control and inspection of trailers, platforms, and H&H units during vessel loading and unloading operations at the Ferry Terminal.

FUNCTIONS

Inspection of units and taking photographs of damage, license plates, and seals.
Control of trailers and platforms during vessel operations.
Recording and communication of incidents.
Review of roofs and hoods before boarding.
Management and filing of photographs, lists, reports, and logs.
Registration and tracking of claims.
Occasional support with sensitive goods and general cargo.
