What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a second cook with experience in responsibility-based functions.
  • Immediate start.
  • Experience in menu planning and meal preparation for collectives, residences, or similar centers.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.

The role

At Iman Temporing Terrassa, we need a second cook to work in a residential center in Terrassa.

What you'll do

  • Support the kitchen manager in the organization and coordination of the daily service.
  • Collaboration in the planning and preparation of the center's different menus (approximately 3-4 menus).
  • Preparation, elaboration, and cooking of lunches and dinners, adapting to the dietary and nutritional needs of the residents.
  • Supervision and monitoring of preparations to guarantee the quality and correct presentation of the dishes.
  • Organization and distribution of preparation tasks during service.
  • Basic control of stock, preservation, and correct handling of food.
  • Maintenance of order and cleanliness of the facilities, machinery, and kitchen utensils.
  • Complying with hygiene, food safety, and HACCP regulations.

How you'll work

  • Schedule: from 8:00 to 16:00h.
  • Monday to Sunday
  • Salary at 9.96€ gross per hour
  • Initial contract through a temporary employment agency (ETT) for summer holiday cover.
