Mathematics Teacher Trainer (Secondary Education)

• A good foundation in mathematics and experience in the Secondary classroom.

• Passion for mathematics didactics, or a great desire to train deeply in it.

• Great communication skills, from teacher to teacher. You speak in public with ease, both in small and large groups. To do this, we need a high level of Catalan.

• Driving license B to travel to educational centers in Catalonia.

• Close leadership: you generate trust and become a reference for your teaching team.

• Empathy and great tact to manage difficult situations.

• Strategic vision. Over time, the ability to think further and rethink the advisory, our way of doing things, and how we support Secondary centers.

We are looking for a person passionate about mathematics didactics to lead the training and support of Secondary teachers in Catalonia. Your day-to-day will consist of going from center to center, advising and accompanying the teaching staff in the implementation of our educational proposal. Not only in mathematics didactics, but in everything that surrounds good classroom practice.

You will manage accounts directly, but always from a formative perspective. Your focus is that each center implements Innovamat well and that each teacher feels supported. Given the context in which you will work, part of your time will also have a business perspective. This will help you better understand the reality of the centers and support them with more criteria.

Over time, we aspire for you to become a reference person and leader in your region: someone whom teachers trust to resolve doubts, ask for advice, and feel supported.

• Train Secondary teachers: from sessions for two people to training before groups of one hundred, with the same proficiency.

• Accompany and advise the teaching staff in the implementation of the Innovamat proposal, beyond pure mathematics didactics.

• Visit the centers in your region, accompanying teachers in their day-to-day classroom life.

• Manage your accounts with a formative and implementation focus.

• Coach teachers when they need it, helping them to grow and gain confidence.

• Become the reference person for your region, generating community and trust among the teaching staff.
