What we're looking for

  • Degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Minimum of [3-5 years] experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within a Purchasing department or laboratory experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of active pharmaceutical ingredients and sector regulations.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Teamwork-oriented.

Nice to have

  • Experience with the Chinese and Indian markets will be a strong plus.

The role

  • Position: Purchasing Technician of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs)
  • Location: Madrid.

INSUD PHARMA operates across the entire pharmaceutical value chain, providing specialized knowledge and experience in scientific research, development, manufacturing, sales, and marketing of a wide range of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), finished dosage forms (FDF), and branded pharmaceutical products, adding value to human and animal health.

The activities of INSUD PHARMA are organized into three synergistic business areas: Industrial (Chemo), Branded (Exeltis), and Biotech (mAbxience), with over 9,000 professionals in more than 50 countries, 20 state-of-the-art facilities, 15 specialized R&D centers, 12 commercial offices, and more than 35 pharmaceutical subsidiaries, serving 1,150 customers in 96 countries worldwide. INSUD PHARMA believes in innovation and sustainable development.

What you'll do

  • Search, analyze, evaluate, and select API suppliers for new R&D projects.
  • Ensure selected suppliers comply with required quality standards and current regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality and Business Development departments.
  • Stay up to date on market trends and new regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and other business partners.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of purchasing strategies to optimize costs.
  • International scope.
