Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or equivalent disciplines.
Languages: Advanced level of English.
Previous professional experience in systems, networks, or security environments.
Experience with Fortinet/FortiGate technologies.
Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, NAT, DNS, and DHCP.
Hands-on experience in firewall management.
Knowledge of IPSec and SSL VPN.
Ability to analyze and resolve basic network incidents.
Familiarity with ticketing tools and service-oriented environments.
Ability to document procedures and technical interventions.
Proactive, problem-solving attitude oriented toward continuous learning.
Availability to perform weekend on-call shifts (1 in every 3).

Nice to have

It will be highly valued if you also have:

Knowledge of FortiSwitch and FortiAP.
Experience or knowledge in FortiNAC.
Knowledge of FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
Experience with enterprise WiFi environments.
Knowledge of Palo Alto, ZTNA, or PAM technologies.
Official Fortinet certifications or equivalent knowledge.
Driver's license.

The role

At Izertis, we are looking to expand our team by bringing on a Network and Security Technician to join one of our specialized areas in Cybersecurity and Networking.

What you'll do

Manage and resolve incidents and requests related to networking and security.
Configure and administer FortiGate environments.
Manage firewall policies, network objects, rules, and port openings.
Configure and perform troubleshooting for IPSec VPN connections and remote access.
Provide support in LAN, VLAN, switching, and network segmentation environments.
Diagnose and resolve connectivity and WiFi network incidents.
Participate in firmware updates and maintenance tasks for security devices.
Collaborate on deployment, evolution, and migration projects for security solutions.
Provide support for managed services and perform monitoring through ticketing tools.
Prepare and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
Participate, accompanied by senior profiles, in technologies such as FortiNAC, FortiPAM, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator, and ZTNA.

How you'll work

The work will be performed in Barcelona, with a hybrid work modality, of which 1 or 2 days will be in person and the rest remote.
