The role

What you'll do

At least 3 years of experience as a Data Governance and Quality Consultant:

• Define the data quality strategy: dimensions, template, metamodel, standards, and critical data

• Understand the data through preliminary analysis. Use the results from data profiling libraries (such as Great Expectations or YData) to understand the data and identify possible quality rules.

• Propose quality rules for each of the tables in the data domain, recording them in the defined template.

• Understand business requirements in relation to quality to support the business unit in defining the quality rules to be implemented.

• Support the development and configuration of the quality platform to apply rules and standards.

• Design and support the construction of reports (Power BI) that allow for the measurement and monitoring of data quality.

• Share results, identify improvement opportunities, and monitor the evolution of quality metrics.

• Understand the functional requirements related to governance and quality management in the organization and propose actions for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with the development team (Snowflake+PBI) on the functional definition of the different data assets. Design the way this information will be incorporated into the Collibra platform.

• Support the different Data Stewards in the execution of the technical tasks associated with their role.

• Support Data Stewards in the process of defining business terms and other assets, as well as maintenance within the platform.

• Maintain information in Collibra regarding assets related to data quality, creating and associating data quality standards, rules, and metrics to the metadata assets.
