You will be part of the Sustainability area of Telefónica Group, within the scope of Data Governance and Digital Transformation. This team aims to ensure the correct management, quality, and traceability of sustainability data (ESG), driving technological initiatives that improve efficiency, control, and decision-making on a global scale.

What will your mission be? 🎯

Your mission will be to drive the Data Governance and Digital Transformation program in Sustainability, ensuring efficient, structured, and reliable management of information throughout its entire lifecycle. You will participate in defining processes, tools, and controls that enhance data quality, as well as in the technological evolution of the area to meet business needs and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

How will you contribute with your skills to the purpose of the role? 💼

You will analyze, define, and optimize data management processes throughout their entire lifecycle, identifying automation opportunities

You will conduct functional and technological assessments (data & tech assessment), defining requirements and action plans

You will participate in technological scouting to identify innovative solutions adapted to business needs

You will review the existing technological ecosystem, contributing to the design of the evolutionary roadmap

You will design and implement data governance tools and data quality models with their associated KPIs

You will define policies, procedures, and controls regarding data management, security, and protection

You will implement general IT controls (ITGC) to ensure data reliability

You will operationally manage the area's tools (users, incidents, enhancements, and business support)

You will provide support in sustainability reporting processes and internal and external audits

Technical skills:

Academic background in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar technical or engineering fields.

3 to 7 years of experience in similar positions in data management and governance, technological environments, or management of technological platforms and systems (e.g., Workiva platform).

Knowledge of data governance, data lifecycle management, and the definition of data quality policies, controls, and models (KPIs)

English level B2-C1 (mandatory)

Knowledge in data analytics and artificial intelligence

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools

Soft skills:

Strong analytical skills and structured thinking

Communication and stakeholder management skills

Proactivity, autonomy, and results orientation

Teamwork and influencing skills
