Java Technical Lead (100% Remote) in Madrid

Through this opportunity, you will be able to take on a Java Technical Lead role for a major client. You will be part of a cross-functional team of Java experts for one of their areas, carrying out different initiatives within the area.

You will provide technical guidance to other teams in the area.

You will help with project kickoffs when it comes to defining the technical approach.

You will develop small innovation initiatives or proof-of-concept projects before fully productizing them.

To be a good match...

- Proven experience with Kafka.

- Experience developing with Java versions 11 and above.

- Experience with the Spring framework and its modules.

- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases at an advanced level (scalar functions, query optimization).

- Experience or knowledge of hexagonal architecture and microservices.

- Experience with continuous integration.

- Experience with API Gateway.

- Experience working with monitoring tools such as Grafana.

- Experience with unit and integration testing.

- Good practices: SOLID principles and Clean Code.

- Experience with OpenAPI/API First.

- Experience in AI tools as development support.

- Experience in SDD is valued.

26 days off (22 vacation days, 2 personal days, plus 24 and 31 December as holidays by default).

Schedule: 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (flexible) Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in summer (July and August).
