Senior PostgreSQL Database Administrator

At KRELL we are looking for a Senior PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join a long-term technological project focused on the administration, operation, maintenance, and optimization of Open Source database environments.

We are looking for a senior profile with solid experience in PostgreSQL, the ability to manage critical environments, and communication and coordination skills with technical teams and clients.

• Administer, maintain, and supervise PostgreSQL databases and other Open Source technologies.
• Guarantee the availability, stability, performance, and correct functioning of the database environments.
• Execute operating procedures, maintenance tasks, and activities defined in the runbooks.
• Manage and resolve incidents, problems, changes, and service requests related to the database platforms.
• Implement controlled and documented changes following ITIL best practices.
• Analyze, review, and optimize configuration parameters to improve performance and stability.
• Perform periodic system health checks.
• Identify opportunities for automating repetitive tasks and improving operational processes.
• Act as a technical interlocutor with internal and external teams and client managers.
• Prepare technical documentation, monitoring reports, and operational reports.
• Guarantee compliance with established quality standards, security, and procedures.

• 💰 Salary: Up to €45,000 gross per year.
• 📍 Location: Madrid and/or Málaga.
• 🏢 Modality: Hybrid, with 3 days on-site per week.
• 🌍 Other locations: The possibility of working from other locations may be considered, subject to prior approval from the client.
• 🕒 Schedule: Monday to Friday, with different shifts within the 07:00 to 19:00 range:
• 07:00 to 15:00 h.
• 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• 10:00 to 19:00 h.
• 🇬🇧 English: Minimum B2 level.
• 📅 Experience: Between 7 and 10 years in Open Source database administration, especially PostgreSQL.
• 🌍 Nationalities admitted according to project requirements: Spanish, German, French, or British.
