What we're looking for

We are looking for a Software Engineer specializing in Apigee, with at least 2 years of experience, to join a banking sector project on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The selected person will participate in the development, maintenance, and support of a global API Management platform, intended to offer internal banking services to large clients, within a secure and controlled environment.

Minimum 2 years of experience working with Apigee.
Knowledge of cloud services.
Experience developing and managing REST and SOAP APIs.
Knowledge of Python and serverless tools (Cloud Functions).
Proficiency in Swagger and OpenAPI.
Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and OAuth.
Knowledge of Shared Flows and security policies in Apigee.
Best practices to guarantee the security, scalability, and performance of APIs.
Experience with Shell Scripting (Bash) in Linux/WSL environments.

Nice to have

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP): containers, identities, roles, storage, and serverless services.
Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab, or similar.

🚀 Job Offer: Apigee Developer Engineer – 100% Remote

📍 Location: Madrid (100% teleworking)

📅 Duration: Indefinite project

💻 Modality: Remote

What you'll do

Development, maintenance, and support of the Apigee platform on GCP.
Development of templates for API deployment.
Infrastructure automation through IaC pipelines.
Development and optimization of deployment and promotion pipelines between environments.
Evolution and maintenance of technical documentation.
Implementation of security improvements to pass ethical hacking tests.
Execution of performance tests and solution optimization.
Definition and management of users, permissions, and project roles.

How you'll work

⏰ Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 18:00.
Friday: 08:00 to 15:00.
Summer schedule: 08:00 to 15:00.
