Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention

• Participate in the definition, updating, and implementation of the company's prevention policy.
• Prepare and review risk assessments for workstations, equipment, facilities, and processes.
• Identify risks and establish the corresponding preventive and corrective measures.
• Carry out periodic safety inspections at the different work centers.
• Follow up on corrective actions derived from assessments, inspections, and audits.
• Advise plant managers, middle managers, and workers on occupational health and safety matters.
• Participate in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying their causes and proposing improvement actions.
• Monitor the main safety and accident rate indicators.
• Supervise compliance with safety regulations by workers and external companies.
• Participate in the coordination of business activities (CCA) and in the preventive management of subcontracting companies.
• Manage and keep up to date the documentation of the own Prevention Service.
• Participate in internal audits, labor inspections, and actions by official bodies.
• Provide and/or coordinate training on Occupational Risk Prevention.
• Promote awareness campaigns and good practices to consolidate the preventive culture of the organization.
• Coordinate with Human Resources, Production, Maintenance, Quality, Health Surveillance, and other company areas.
• Participate in projects for the continuous improvement of occupational health and safety.

From Paul Marlex we are collaborating with a leading industrial business group, with more than 600 employees and several production and sales centers mainly distributed throughout Catalonia, in the search for a Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention to join its own Prevention Service (SPP).

• Minimum 2 years of experience performing Occupational Risk Prevention duties, preferably in industrial environments.
• Experience in own Prevention Services (SPP) and/or in industrial or production sector companies.
• University education in Engineering, Labor Sciences, Labor Relations, or similar qualifications.
• Hold the qualification of Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention.
• Having the 3 prevention specialties will be highly valued:
  • Workplace Safety.
  • Industrial Hygiene.
  • Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology.
• Experience in risk assessments, accident investigation, inspections, and prevention planning.
• Knowledge of industrial, production, logistics, and operational processes.
• Knowledge of current regulations on Occupational Risk Prevention.
• Proficiency in office tools, and experience with prevention management software will be valued.
• Ability for analysis, organization, and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and teamwork skills.
• Autonomous, proactive, rigorous profile oriented towards continuous improvement.
• Ability to act as a reference and technical authority in prevention matters.
• Driving license B and availability to travel between the different work centers in Catalonia
