Warehouse Shift Supervisor

• Degree, Bachelor's, Diploma, or Higher Vocational Training in Logistics, Transportation, or similar. University degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering is valued.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams.
• Forklift license is essential.
• Training in occupational risk prevention.
• Knowledge of office tools (Excel intermediate-advanced level).
• Desired competencies: Leadership and team management, organization and planning, results orientation and efficiency, problem-solving, analytical skills, effective communication, working under pressure, flexibility and adaptation to change, orientation towards internal/external customers.

Your mission will be to oversee the storage and stock of products, as well as logistics operations, in accordance with the guidelines of the Operations Area to ensure the supply of products to the points of sale in optimal conditions of quality and cost.

• Carry out the control and management of platform unloading, checking the invoice or delivery note for the goods that should be on it and ensuring proper storage.
• Load small orders into the vehicles of the sales representatives and serve merchandise to walk-in customers.
• Control the unloading of self-employed drivers' trucks. Perform loading and unloading work.
• Control the "loading sheet" document for unsupplied merchandise and returned packaging, transferring this document to administration, or reporting incidents to the operations department when unloading is done via a delivery app.
• Review the loading of trucks for the distribution of orders provided by the sales team. Detect possible errors and control the correct loading in the trucks.
• Direct the personnel of your shift in loading work with the forklift and electric pallet trucks, as well as manually when it is not complete pallets. Balance the workload of the operators and rotation of tasks.
• Control and manage personnel, both operationally and in terms of people. Coordinate tasks with the rest of the area supervisors daily.
• Notify the Warehouse Manager of any incidents that arise in any of the warehouse operations, and report incidents to suppliers and the operations department. Communicate the department's KPIs to the team.
• Control the proper use of warehouse machinery, devices, and computer applications, and report incidents to suppliers and the operations department. Communicate the department's KPIs to the team.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Risk Prevention, Quality, Hygiene and Food Safety, and Environmental regulations, and carry out mandatory training. Ensure the cleanliness and order of the warehouse.
• Managing the warehouse team under your supervision during the shift, as well as the assigned team, ensuring their development, day-to-day management, mandatory training, vacations, hires and terminations.
