From the Privacy, Data Protection and AI area of the Corporate Security Directorate, we are looking for a person to help us define the measures and controls necessary to guarantee data protection and the responsible use of new technologies such as AI, as well as defining the necessary best practices and policies to comply with current regulations regarding Security and Privacy.

What you'll do

  • Identify and analyze Security and Privacy risks derived from legislation and regulations regarding Artificial Intelligence.
  • Collaborate in the definition and implementation of the Security and Privacy strategy, as well as in guaranteeing the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence and data protection.
  • Dynamically adjust and update AI governance and responsible use, as well as controls and guardrails, including their integration into tools, systems, and platforms.
  • Evaluate and mitigate AI risks, such as bias, discrimination, or explainability, in AI algorithms and models, including solutions based on LLM/GenAI and autonomous agents, throughout their entire lifecycle.
  • Promote the incorporation of data protection and responsible AI use requirements and controls in projects within their scope of responsibility.
  • Evaluate new tools and capabilities for their secure incorporation into the organization, determining the Security and Privacy posture regarding AI risks and proposing measures for their mitigation and prioritization.
  • Participate in projects that require the application of AI to cybersecurity problems.
  • Propose, develop, and review standards and procedures aligned with Mapfre's Security Master Plan and with applicable legislation and regulations regarding Data Protection and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Participate in the implementation and evolution of the corporate Responsible AI framework, aligned with the European AI Act, GDPR, and other applicable regulations.
  • Perform impact assessments and risk analyses related to AI, Generative AI, agentic platforms, and autonomous agents solutions.
  • Maintain inventories of AI use cases and collaborate in risk classification and supervision processes.
  • Perform continuous monitoring of emerging technologies related to Generative AI, Agentic AI, AI security, governance, and data protection.
  • Collaborate with the Data and AI, Technology, Operations, and Innovation areas to ensure that Security and Privacy requirements and controls are designed, implemented, and act effectively, driving responsible AI consistently throughout the organization.
  • Work in a global and multidisciplinary environment, in contact with different geographies and global areas, to guarantee compliance with current legislation and the regulatory framework, in accordance with the criteria and principles established by the Corporate Security Directorate.
  • Propose, implement, improve, and coordinate the measurement of Data Protection and Artificial Intelligence indicators with the various entities and countries of Mapfre.

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • More than 4 years of experience in Security and Privacy, frameworks, policies, standards, regulations, and technological risk practices/disciplines.
  • More than 1 year of experience in securing architectures with AI/ML technologies and data analysis, data and AI governance, and emerging digital technology governance.
  • At least 1 year of experience in AI project deployments in cloud environments (Azure, Amazon, Google).
  • Knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases, and agentic systems.
  • Knowledge of secure configuration of unified AI platforms from AWS (Bedrock), Microsoft (Azure OpenAI), and Google (Vertex AI).
  • We value specific knowledge, experience, and certifications in information security and cybersecurity (CISM, CISSP, CCSP, CGEIT, CDPSE, CISA, CDPP.....)
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment related to Information Security and Data Protection, with the ability to articulate technological risk principles and their management.
  • Knowledge in privacy, regarding data protection regulations such as GDPR.
  • Knowledge of the European AI Act, ISO 42001, as well as other similar regulations and best practices regarding the ethical and responsible use of AI.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technological advances in AI / GenAI.
  • Experience in high-transactional business environments, large / complex / international organization.
  • Teamwork, analysis/synthesis, planning, and results-oriented capabilities.

  • Desirable:
    • Knowledge of data protection tools such as DLP, IRM, CASB, labeling tools, database protection, etc., such as Microsoft Agent365, Azure Content Safety, and Purview
