COMMERCIAL MANAGER Are you passionate about negotiating with major suppliers and developing strategic business relationships in an international environment? Would you like to join a leading company in the retail and FMCG sector, working on procurement and negotiation projects at a European level? If your answer is yes, this is your chance! At Paul Marlex, we are looking for a Commercial Manager for a leading company specialising in international procurement within the retail and FMCG sector in Madrid. General mission • Analyse supplier commercial proposals and negotiation outcomes, preparing product-level recommendations and leading discussions with suppliers to secure optimal agreements. • Optimize overall commercial and financial conditions with suppliers, ensuring alignment with company policies and strategic objectives. • Ensure the timely execution and renewal of contractual agreements within the assigned supplier portfolio. • Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of supplier and product master data within the designated scope. • Coordinate the implementation of product listings, delistings, innovations, and assortment changes, ensuring timely execution across different markets and business units. • Guarantee the quality and accuracy of pricing information communicated to internal stakeholders and administrative teams. • Actively participate in supplier review meetings, fostering strong relationships and driving continuous business improvement. • Ensure full compliance with applicable regulations, commercial practices, and corporate governance standards in all supplier interactions. • Lead, coach, and develop team members, promoting high performance and collaboration. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, commercial, and administrative departments, to support business objectives and operational excellence. What we are looking for • 5 years of purchase of national brands FMCG. • International experience (English or Spanish speaking countries is a plus). • Good knowledge of the FMCG markets. • Business or Engineering school. • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus. • Advanced Excel / Google sheet. • Relational and communication skills.
