What we're looking for

University degree in Building Engineering, Technical Architecture, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in cost control, management control, or financial management of construction projects.
Knowledge of budgets, scheduling, measurements, and construction certifications.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with ERP tools and project management software.

Nice to have

BIM methodology and data analysis tools experience is a plus.
English level is a plus.

From Paul Marlex, we are looking for a COST CONTROLLER for Tarragona, the selected person will be responsible for monitoring project costs, analyzing deviations from the budget, preparing economic reports, and collaborating with production teams to ensure the fulfillment of the financial objectives of each work.

What you'll do

Monitor the financial performance of projects throughout all execution phases.
Prepare and update budgets, cost forecasts, and financial closings.
Analyze variances between budget, actual costs, and executed production.
Prepare periodic cost control reports and KPIs for Management.
Supervise certifications, measurements, and production control.
Collaborate on the economic and financial planning of projects.
Monitor spending commitments, purchase orders, contracts, and subcontracting.
Identify financial risks and propose corrective measures to optimize project profitability.
Provide support to project teams in financial monitoring and decision-making.
Participate in the implementation and improvement of cost control tools and procedures.
