Shift Supervisor

What do we need from you?

Experience: Minimum 2 years of previous experience in the operational management of shifts or production processes.

Key knowledge:

Solid knowledge of quality and food safety regulations (HACCP, IFS, Food Defense, traceability, allergen management, and food handling).

Knowledge of industrial machinery maintenance and Occupational Risk Prevention (OHS).

Key competencies: A person with high leadership and group management capacity, resourceful, responsible, with initiative and a great capacity for learning.

At Paul Marlex, we are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join the plant structure of the production department. The position will focus on guaranteeing compliance with production planning, team safety, and the highest standards of quality and food hygiene.

What will your mission be in the company?

Production management and coordination: Organize, coordinate, and supervise the shift's production, ensuring planning, production objectives, and priorities are met.

Coordinate Team Leaders and available resources in the face of workload peaks, sick leave, or critical shutdowns.

Quality control and food safety: Guarantee compliance with the quality system, HACCP, traceability, IFS standards, Food Defense, allergens, and correct warehouse rotation (FIFO). Ensure the correct functioning of CCPs and OPRPs (X-rays, weight control, temperatures, CIP).

Performance supervision and incident resolution: Monitor the shift's KPIs (efficiency, waste, downtime).

Analyze deviations, apply corrective measures, record incidents, and establish priorities with the Maintenance department.

People management and OHS: Lead, supervise, and manage shift personnel, controlling performance and attendance in coordination with HR.

Enforce Occupational Risk Prevention protocols and emergency situations.

Interlocution and continuous improvement: Act as the shift's main interlocutor with Quality, Maintenance, HR, OHS, and Plant Management.

Collaborate in the development and implementation of new products on the manufacturing line.
