2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a Cluster.
Local language (depending on the geographical location of the establishment) and Advanced English.
A third language is a plus.
Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Administration
User-level knowledge of FOCUS & OPERA and Microsoft Office package
Knowledge of luxury networks.
Skills: Global Vision, Results & Customer Orientation, Change Management.
Knowledge of Hotel Operations in M&E.

Melia Jardines del Teide, adults-only hotel in the Canary Islands, specializing in well-being through its entertainment program focused on all kinds of group classes and its cultural workshop program. It enjoys an excellent location in the south of Tenerife, Costa Adeje, and thanks to its modern facilities, it sets a new standard of luxury and comfort throughout the island.

What you'll do

1. Develop and execute the hotel's commercial strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets, budget, and Business Plan.

2. Manage, retain, and grow the client portfolio (Corporate, MICE, TTOO, and local accounts), identifying new business opportunities.

3. Negotiate and formalize commercial agreements, contracts, RFPs, and business proposals, ensuring their proper implementation and follow-up.

4. Conduct market prospecting and acquire new accounts, expanding the hotel's presence in strategic segments and markets.

5. Coordinate commercial actions and relationships with key stakeholders, including Account Managers, tourism boards, professional associations, and other internal departments.

6. Analyze results and monitor commercial performance, preparing reports, tracking financial targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction and experience.
