Requirements

Graduate in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or similar degrees.
Previous experience in external audit, preferably in an audit firm.
Knowledge of accounting regulations and financial statement review.
English level B2 or higher, especially for working with international clients and financial documentation.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and office tools.
Analytical capacity, attention to detail, and technical rigor.
Communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are looking for a Financial Auditor (Industry and Services Sector) to join a renowned international professional services firm. If you believe you may fit the position, do not hesitate to apply to the vacancy and we will contact you as soon as possible.

What you'll do

Perform external audits of financial statements and annual accounts for companies in the industrial and services sectors.
Analyze and review various accounting areas, such as fixed assets, inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, personnel, and taxes.
Verify the reasonableness of financial information and compliance with applicable accounting regulations.
Identify financial and accounting risks, evaluate internal controls, and document audit tests.
Participate in the planning and execution of audit work, as well as in the preparation of reports and closing documentation.
Maintain direct communication with clients to request information, resolve queries, and follow up on assigned areas.
Collaborate with the audit team and progressively assume greater responsibilities based on experience.
