The role

A leading company in the cosmetics sector is seeking a Process and Automation Engineer to lead projects for the standardization and automation of production processes at its Vallès Occidental site.

What you'll do

Analyze existing production processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Drive initiatives aimed at increasing the efficiency and productivity of manufacturing lines.
Identify and minimize bottlenecks that impact the plant's operational performance.
Design and implement automation solutions that contribute to improving industrial processes.
Collaborate on the technical improvement and optimization of machinery, equipment, and production facilities.
Optimize coordination and workflow between the different stages of the production process.
Reduce cycle times, improve format changeovers, and contribute to a more efficient plant organization.
Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and efficiency.
Work cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, and Quality departments to resolve issues and promote operational improvements.
Actively participate in projects involving transformation, continuous improvement, and industrial reorganization.
Provide support for digitalization, traceability, and production data control initiatives.
Contribute to increasing the company's production capacity and the continuous improvement of its operations.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Organizational Engineering, or a similar field, highly valued.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or production environments.
Previous experience in process improvement projects, industrial automation, or machinery implementation will be valued.
Experience participating in the commissioning, optimization, or automation of production lines.
Previous experience in the cosmetics sector is valued.
High level of English, both oral and written.
Ability to collaborate effectively with different areas of the organization.
Communication skills to interact with technical, operational, and production teams.
