Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist requires:

• High level of English, both written and spoken.
• High attention to detail and rigor, ensuring the accuracy and quality of information in payroll processes.
• Solid knowledge of payroll, understanding its structure, processes, and main implications.
• Organizational and planning capacity, especially for working with payroll calendars and meeting strict deadlines.
• Process orientation, with the ability to follow established procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Autonomy and a sense of responsibility, assuming the management and follow-up of their tasks from start to finish.
• Adaptability, being able to handle changes, different priorities, and business needs with ease.
• Proactivity and perseverance, especially when following up on pending matters and resolving possible incidents.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, as they will have regular contact with employees, external providers, and different internal stakeholders.
• Ability to structure and organize their own work autonomously, relying on information provided by colleagues and stakeholders.
• Comfort working in an international and cross-functional environment, collaborating with other Payroll professionals responsible for different countries.

A 3-month temporary position is offered with the possibility of contract extension.

• Salary: between €50,000 and €55,000 gross per year.
• Hybrid modality: 3 days per week in the office and 2 days of teleworking, with some flexibility.

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for:

• Managing and supporting payroll processes for different countries, mainly the United Kingdom, Belgium, and the Netherlands, ensuring correct execution and compliance with established deadlines.
• Coordinating and monitoring external payroll providers, guaranteeing the correct transmission of information and resolution of possible incidents.
• Managing and resolving employee inquiries related to payroll, administrative processes, and labor documentation.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with different departments, such as Human Resources, Finance, Sales, and Office Management, ensuring efficient communication and coordination.
• Supervising and managing documentation and administrative processes related to the Payroll and Human Resources areas.
• Guaranteeing the accuracy and quality of information, performing the necessary checks and paying special attention to detail.
• Meeting payroll calendars and deadlines, prioritizing tasks and coordinating with the different stakeholders involved.
• Collaborating with international Payroll teams, sharing information and best practices, and providing support in processes that require it.
• Contributing to the improvement and optimization of internal processes, identifying opportunities to reinforce the efficiency and organization of the area.
