Requirements

What we're looking for

Required experience: At least 5 years managing complex technology or security projects, preferably in industrial, aerospace, or highly regulated and multi-site environments; experience in vendor management, budgets, risks, executive reporting, and multidisciplinary teams.

Necessary knowledge:

Portfolio and project governance (Agile, ….).

Physical security and cybersecurity, critical infrastructures, business continuity, risks, compliance, and auditing.

CAPEX/OPEX, forecasting, contracts, and benefits management.

IT service management and transition to operations.

Languages: Professional Spanish and English. Other languages will be valued.
Soft Skills:

Functional leadership and influence; strategic and systemic vision; communication and executive reporting; negotiation and stakeholder management.

Analytical problem-solving; prioritization and decision-making in complex environments.

Resilience, confidentiality, and results orientation.

Education & certifications

Education: University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, Cybersecurity, or similar. Postgraduate studies or certifications in project management, cybersecurity, business continuity, or risk will be valued.

The role

An important company in the aeronautical sector located in the outskirts of Bilbao is looking to hire a Project Manager.

What you'll do

Join Maintenance IT&S to lead the planning, execution, and governance of the Protect Portfolio within the Maintenance team, focused on cybersecurity and physical security, operational continuity, and critical asset protection. Guarantee delivery on time, cost, scope, and quality, in line with strategy, regulatory obligations, business needs, and security standards.

You will report to the IT&Security Maintenance Director, and you will work in a global, multidisciplinary, and highly regulated environment.

You will collaborate closely with the CISO/Cybersecurity/Physical Security, Infrastructure, Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Plant Management, PMO/Portfolio, Finance, Procurement, Legal, local IT managers, and specialized providers and integrators.
