The role
As CRM Manager you will lead the migration of festivals in the Iberian Market into the Central Marketing CRM Team and then own the ongoing CRM execution for Iberia: lifecycle journeys, campaign communications, and segmentation, applying deep cultural and market-specific understanding of our fans to turn central CRM frameworks into locally relevant, high-performing activity. Manage and develop one or more CRM Executives.
What you'll do
- Lead the onboarding of each festival into the Central Marketing CRM Team, assessing its current CRM setup as a first step: some festivals already run on Braze with existing journeys and data, others use a different platform
- For festivals already on Braze: audit existing journeys, segments, and data quality, then migrate and rebuild them to centre of excellence standard within the shared workspace architecture
- For festivals not on Braze: within their existing platform identify and execute quick wins. Ready them for migration to Braze, including data migration, list cleanup, consent/GDPR checks, and initial journey setup, working with the Head of CRM and Digital Team on the build
- Sequence and prioritise the migration roadmap across the festival portfolio in agreement with the Head of CRM, balancing festival calendar dates against migration effort
- Document the as-is state, risks, and dependencies for each festival before migration, so gaps (e.g. missing consent records, poor data hygiene, no prior CRM activity) are known and planned for rather than discovered mid-migration
- Once migrated, own the CRM plan for every festival in the Market portfolio, adapting the centre of excellence lifecycle templates and segmentation architecture to reflect local fan behaviour, language, cultural context and the unique festival experience
- Build and maintain a market-level campaign calendar aligned to each festival's on-sale, lineup, and ticketing milestones
- Act as the CRM authority for the market, flagging where central templates don't fit local fan expectations and feeding that back to the Head of CRM
- For Festivals on Braze - build, deploy, and maintain core Braze lifecycle journeys for Iberian festivals: cart and browse abandonment, pre-event, post-event, and cross-festival journeys
- Develop and manage planned campaign sends across email, SMS, and WhatsApp for on-sale announcements, lineup reveals, urgency and scarcity triggers
- Own segmentation within market, ensuring messaging, channel choice, and timing reflect local fan preferences and cultural nuance rather than a generic portfolio default
- Maintain working knowledge of Iberia's cultural context, language nuance, communication norms, and channel preferences (e.g. WhatsApp usage, regional holidays, local event calendar), and apply this to every journey and campaign
- Feed market-specific learnings and fan insight back to the Head of Fan CRM to inform portfolio-wide strategy and the Fan Single View
- Progressively build fan-level personalisation for the festival as Fan ID data matures, moving from festival-level segmentation to individual behavioural targeting
- Maintain and share CRM audience exclusion lists with the relevant Performance Marketing contacts to prevent paid media cannibalising fans already in owned journeys
- Track and report CRM revenue contribution and cost-per-repeat against festival plan
- Works closely with each festival marketing team (and, where relevant, their outgoing during migration to gather data, access, and historical context)
- Works with each festival to create an annual CRM plan detailing the weekly activations/campaigns in channel
- Content briefs derived from the CRM plan are delivered to each festival to ensure the content required for Email, SMS, In app push and Whatsapp is received back from the festival well within time
- Delivers weekly CRM performance and revenue reporting to the individual festivals
- Delivers weekly audience exclusion lists to the relevant Performance Marketing team
- Receives creative assets from the Festival and the Studio team for use in email, SMS, and WhatsApp communications
- Shares market and festival learnings and fan insight with the Head of Fan CRM, Market Teams and the Festivals
