What we're looking for

University degree in Food Science and Technology, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Agri-food Engineering, or related degrees.
Extensive experience in responsibility positions related to Quality and Food Safety within the food industry, especially in the dairy sector.
Experience in industrial production environments.
Experience conducting internal and external audits.
Up-to-date knowledge of current food regulations at national and European levels.
Organizational capacity, autonomy, attention to detail, and transversal communication skills.

The role

A Quality Manager is sought to lead and ensure quality standards in an Important Food Industry company with a presence in Ciudad Real. They will be responsible for guaranteeing regulatory compliance in the factory and leading the food safety area.

What you'll do

Supervise and maintain the quality and food safety management system, guaranteeing its effectiveness and continuous improvement.
Manage incidents, non-conformities, complaints, and corrective actions, reporting periodically to Management.
Plan, coordinate, and perform internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and certification requirements.
Verify compliance with product specifications, customer requirements, and controls for raw materials and finished products.
Manage quality and food safety documentation, as well as the filing and control of associated records.
Coordinate staff training, identifying training needs and monitoring training records.
Supervise the evaluation and control of suppliers, subcontractors, external laboratories, and traceability processes.
Lead and participate in committees and teams related to quality, HACCP, Food Defense, food fraud prevention, and crisis management.
