Billing Manager

Responsible for leading and optimizing the billing area in a complex healthcare environment, ensuring the correct management of billable activity and regulatory compliance. Key role in process improvement, revenue control, and cross-departmental coordination with clinical and financial areas.

Reporting to the Financial Management, the selected candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the billing area, ensuring the correct issuance, control, and monitoring of billing, as well as compliance with specific healthcare sector regulations.

Main responsibilities:

• Supervision and coordination of the complete billing process (private patients, mutual insurance companies, insurers, and public entities).
• Control and validation of billable healthcare activity.
• Management of billing to public entities (CatSalut) and insurance companies.
• Monitoring of billing incidents and resolution of discrepancies.
• Analysis of deviations, KPIs, and periodic reporting to Financial Management.
• Coordination with clinical and administrative areas to ensure correct activity allocation.
• Leadership and development of the billing team.
• Participation in process improvement and digitalization projects for the area.
• Ensuring compliance with current regulations in the healthcare and billing scope.

• Initial contract with a minimum duration of 1 year.

Healthcare organization with comprehensive care activity, providing hospital, outpatient, and social-health services, with a high billing volume and strong interaction with public entities.

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
• Previous experience in billing functions, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or public sector environments.
• Knowledge of complex billing circuits (mutual insurance companies, insurers, public administration).
• Experience in team management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Organized profile with problem-solving skills and ability to interact across departments.
• Valuable knowledge of ERP and hospital management systems.

Responsable de liderar i optimitzar l'àrea de facturació en un entorn sanitari complex, assegurant la correcta gestió de l'activitat facturable i el compliment normatiu. Rol clau en la millora de processos, el control d'ingressos i la coordinació transversal amb àrees assistencials i financeres.

Reportant a la Direcció Financera, la persona seleccionada serà responsable de la gestió integral de l'àrea de facturació, assegurant la correcta emissió, control i seguiment de la facturació, així com el compliment de la normativa específica del sector sanitari.

Funcions principals:

• Supervisió i coordinació del procés complet de facturació (pacients privats, mútues, asseguradores i entitats públiques).
• Control i validació de l'activitat assistencial facturable.
• Gestió de la facturació a organismes públics (CatSalut) i entitats asseguradores.
• Seguiment d'incidències de facturació i resolució de discrepàncies.
• Anàlisi de desviacions, KPIs i reporting periòdic a Direcció Financera.
• Coordinació amb àrees assistencials i administratives per garantir la correcta imputació de l'activitat.
• Lideratge i desenvolupament de l'equip de facturació.
• Participació en projectes de millora de processos i digitalització de l'àrea.
• Garantir el compliment de la normativa vigent en l'àmbit sanitari i de facturació.

Organització del sector sanitari amb activitat assistencial integral, que presta serveis hospitalaris, ambulatoris i sociosanitaris, amb un elevat volum de facturació i una forta interacció amb organismes públics.

• Formació universitària en ADE, Economia o similar.
• Experiència prèvia en funcions de facturació, preferiblement en entorn sanitari, assegurador o sector públic.
• Coneixement de circuits de facturació complexos (mútues, asseguradores, administració pública).
• Experiència en gestió d'equips.
• Alta capacitat analítica i orientació al detall.
• Perfil organitzat, resolutiu i amb capacitat d'interlocució transversal.
• Valorable coneixement d'ERP i sistemes de gestió hospitalària.
