What you'll do
- Support the Global Project Manager in the execution and delivery of international railway infrastructure projects.
- Design, develop, and optimize railway fastening systems and rubber-to-metal components for demanding operational environments.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, reports, drawings, and design documentation.
- Coordinate technical activities with customers, suppliers, testing laboratories, manufacturing teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Support product validation, qualification testing, certification processes, and technical approvals.
- Ensure products comply with international railway standards, customer requirements, and industry best practices.
- Analyze product performance, investigate technical issues, and provide engineering solutions.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives, continuous improvement programs, and new product development projects.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, testing, commissioning, and field implementation phases.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, quality, operations, and project teams to ensure successful project execution and product performance.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience within a specialized engineering environment, ideally linked to railway infrastructure, fastening systems, vibration isolation technology, elastomeric products, or rubber-to-metal solutions.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials engineering, structural behavior, and industrial manufacturing processes.
- Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools.
- Understanding of products subjected to dynamic loading conditions and demanding operating environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work effectively within international and multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally depending on project requirements.

- Railway standards including EN, UIC, AREMA, and ISO.
