Environment, Sustainability and Quality Technician

• Permanent contract.
• Competitive salary between €29,000 and €32,000 gross per year.

We are looking for a Quality, Environment and Sustainability Technician (Peñafiel) to guarantee compliance with quality standards, food safety, environmental requirements, and the company's sustainability projects. You will play a key role in managing IFS Food systems, HACCP, circular economy, and regulatory compliance across the various production centers.

Reporting to the Technical Management, the main responsibilities will be:

• Environmental management of the production centers, guaranteeing compliance with applicable regulations.
• Manage waste, licenses, environmental authorizations, and documentation required by the competent bodies. Prepare and maintain environmental management procedures, records, and indicators.
• Drive sustainability and circular economy projects, promoting initiatives oriented towards reducing environmental impact, optimizing resources, and meeting company objectives.
• Coordinate the relationship with authorized waste managers and monitor the organization's environmental commitments.
• Manage and maintain the quality and food safety system in accordance with IFS Food.
• Prepare, review, and verify the HACCP Plan, ensuring its correct implementation in the plant.
• Participate in internal audits, customer audits, certifications, and official inspections.
• Manage non-conformities, corrective actions, and monitor their effectiveness.
• Coordinate the analytical control of raw materials and finished products.
• Provide training and awareness actions regarding quality, food safety, and the environment.

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

• University degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Food Science and Technology, or similar.
• At least 2 years of experience in environmental management within industrial environments, with experience in food being especially valued.
• Solid knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management, environmental authorizations, sustainability, and circular economy.
• Experience in the implementation and monitoring of procedures, indicators, and initiatives oriented towards reducing environmental impact and improving sustainability.
• Valuable knowledge of quality and food safety systems (IFS Food, HACCP, or similar).
• Ability to manage projects autonomously, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Analytical, organized, and proactive profile, with an interest in driving environmental improvements and contributing to the company's sustainability strategy.
