These internships will allow you to learn about the following: 

Project

Collaborate within the Technology Unit of the Thermal Generation Spain Management, in the Planning and Technical Management of Maintenance Contracts department.

The Thermal Generation - Combined Cycle Planning area combines operational planning, electricity market analysis, and regulatory monitoring, with the aim of optimizing fleet operation in a dynamic market and regulatory environment. 

The selected person will support the team with a focus on digitalization, data analysis, and process improvement.

Main duties

• Support the analysis of electricity market variables for the construction and monitoring of models.
• Collaborate in the improvement and evolution of reporting processes, driving more automated, structured, and data-analysis-oriented solutions.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of data analysis and visualization tools for operational decision-making.
• Support the management, structuring, and exploitation of data within the corporate ecosystem (Data Lake and Azure environment).

What you need

Mandatory requirements

• Education: Student of a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
• English Level: B2

Valued technical knowledge and skills

• Advanced level of Office 365.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SharePoint, Azure environment, or other digital tools is desirable.

Estas prácticas te permitirán conocer lo siguiente: 

Proyecto

Colaborar dentro de la Unidad de Tecnología de la Dirección de Generación Térmica España, en el departamento de Planificación y Gestión Técnica Contratos de Mantenimiento.

El área de Planificación de Generación Térmica - Ciclos Combinados combina planificación operativa, análisis de mercados eléctricos y seguimiento regulatorio, con el objetivo de optimizar la operación de la flota en un entorno dinámico de mercado y normativa. 

La persona seleccionada dará soporte al equipo con foco en la digitalización, análisis de datos y mejora de procesos.

Funciones principales

• Apoyar en el análisis de las variables de mercado eléctrico para la construcción y seguimiento de modelos.
• Colaborar en la mejora y evolución de los procesos de reporting, impulsando soluciones más automatizadas, estructuradas y orientadas al análisis de datos.
• Participar en el desarrollo y mantenimiento de herramientas de análisis y visualización de datos para la toma de decisiones operativas.
• Apoyo en la gestión, estructuración y explotación de datos dentro del ecosistema corporativo (Data Lake y entorno Azure).

Lo que necesitas

Requisitos obligatorios

• Formación: Estudiante del Grado en Ingeniería Industrial o similar.
• Nivel de Inglés: B2

Conocimientos y habilidades técnicas valorables

• Nivel avanzado office 365.
• Deseable familiaridad con Power BI, SharePoint, entorno Azure u otras herramientas digitales.
