Deputy Purchasing Director

At OK Mobility, we are looking for a Deputy Director of Purchasing to join our HQ team in Palma de Mallorca and participate in the definition and execution of the global fleet acquisition strategy.

💼 What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

• Supervise/Execute the fleet vehicle and equipment acquisition process, including supplier identification, price and term negotiation, and purchase order issuance.

• Develop and execute long-term fleet acquisition strategies that align with the company's business and financial objectives.

• Evaluate and select fleet vehicle and equipment suppliers based on their ability to provide quality products, competitive prices, and reliable after-sales services.

• Maintain solid relationships with key suppliers and establish contractual agreements that protect the company's interests.

• Control fleet acquisition costs, identify savings opportunities, and optimize the budget allocated for fleet purchases.

• Ensure that all fleet vehicles comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to safety and the environment.

• Plan and execute fleet renewal based on vehicle lifespan and the company's operational needs.

• Preparation of Purchasing Committees where visibility is given to the market situation and progress at the purchasing level. Prepare tools that allow for greater visibility for the company.

✅ What do you need to join the team?

• Education in International Trade, Business Administration or similar. A Master's degree is highly valued.

• Experience in strategic purchasing, procurement or supplier management, preferably in sectors with high operational complexity.

• Ability to lead high-impact negotiations and build strong relationships with manufacturers and strategic partners.

• Analytical profile, with business acumen and a focus on cost optimization and decision-making.

• Experience leading teams, developing talent, and coordinating cross-functional projects.

• Excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, manage priorities, and make decisions under pressure.

• Flexible person, with adaptability and a positive attitude towards new challenges.

• Very high level of English and Spanish. Other languages will be valued.

• Willingness to travel

• Availability to work from our headquarters in Palma de Mallorca.

En OK Mobility buscamos un/a Director/a Adjunto Compras para incorporarse a nuestro equipo de HQ en Palma de Mallorca y participar en la definición y ejecución de la estrategia global de adquisición de flota.

💼 ¿Qué harás en tu día a día?

• Supervisar/Ejecutar el proceso de adquisición de vehículos y equipos de flota, incluyendo la identificación de proveedores, negociación de precios y términos, y la emisión de órdenes de compra.

• Desarrollar y ejecutar estrategias de adquisición de flota a largo plazo que se alineen con los objetivos comerciales y financieros de la empresa.

• Evaluar y seleccionar proveedores de vehículos y equipos de flota en función de su capacidad para ofrecer productos de calidad, precios competitivos y servicios de postventa confiables.

• Mantener relaciones sólidas con proveedores clave y establecer acuerdos contractuales que protejan los intereses de la empresa.

• Controlar los costos de adquisición de flota, buscar oportunidades de ahorro y optimizar el presupuesto asignado para compras de flota.

• Asegurarse de que todos los vehículos de la flota cumplan con las regulaciones y normativas locales, estatales y federales relacionadas con la seguridad y el medio ambiente.

• Planificar y ejecutar la renovación de la flota en función de la vida útil de los vehículos y las necesidades operativas de la empresa.

• Preparación Comités de Compras donde se da visibilidad de la situación de mercado y de los avances a nivel de las compras. Preparar herramientas que permiten dar mayor visibilidad a la compañía.
