The role

At PwC, you will join our Business Consulting team in the Public Sector, where you will have the opportunity to participate in projects that generate a real impact on public administrations, cities, territories, and public organisms.

As an intern, you will work alongside highly experienced professionals, collaborating on initiatives related to strategy, digital transformation, public innovation, change management, and the improvement of public services. From day one, you will be able to gain practical experience, develop your consulting skills, and get a close look at how transformation projects are designed and executed in the public sector.

What projects will you be able to participate in?

  • Preparation of strategic plans and diagnostics for public entities and organisms.
  • Digital transformation and operational improvement projects.
  • Design and implementation of governance models.
  • Economic and territorial development initiatives.
  • Change management and communication.
  • Public policy evaluation and impact analysis.
  • Support for Project Management Offices (PMO) linked to digitalization and transformation programs.

What are we looking for?

  • Students in their final year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Political Science, Law, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Opportunity to sign an internship agreement with a university or educational institution.
  • Interest in consulting and the public sector.
  • Motivation to learn and develop in a demanding and dynamic professional environment.
  • Analytical skills and a problem-solving orientation.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • High level of Spanish and Catalan.
  • Advanced English is a plus.
  • Availability to carry out an internship in Barcelona in January 2027.
