Consolidated Annual Accounts Internship

IT tools: Practical handling of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Key competencies: High capacity for organization and deadline management.

Critical thinking to investigate differences and discrepancies in financial information.

Discretion and maximum confidentiality in the handling of sensitive data.

Academic training: Students of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Economics, Business Administration and Management (ADE), or specialized training in Accounting and Finance.

Languages: Native/Excellent level in Catalan and Spanish. Intermediate level of English (minimum First Certificate / B2).

We are looking for a Junior Consolidation profile who wants to start their professional career in a high-level financial environment, participating firsthand in the monthly consolidation process and the preparation of consolidated annual accounts. In your day-to-day, you will provide direct support to the Finance and Consolidation area, assuming the following responsibilities:

Monthly consolidated closing: Loading of goodwill and intangibles, updating the consolidation perimeter, entering exchange rates, and preparing loading files.

Business analysis and review: Analytical review of the venture capital business (analysis of balance sheets and P&L), monitoring loan movements, reviewing the individual closing of the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation, and preparing consolidated templates.

Management of subsidiaries' dossiers: Monthly review of the dossier, reconciliation with accounting, and sending to the corresponding areas. Impairment tests: Preparation of the list of venture capital companies subject to impairment tests, review of valuations, and preparation of the final report of conclusions.

Consolidated Annual Accounts: Support in the preparation of the draft annual accounts for the Criteria Group and the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation Group, with the possibility of preparing explanatory notes.

Information support: Updating supplementary information templates for the annual closing.
