Reach Truck Operator

To successfully perform the functions of a reach truck operator, it is essential that candidates meet the following profile:

Demonstrable experience: Possessing at least one year of previous experience operating reach trucks, especially in double-deep or high-level shelving environments.

Mandatory certification: Being in possession of a valid forklift license (in accordance with current regulations) that accredits the necessary theoretical and practical training.

Technical skills: Ability to perform maneuvers in tight spaces with total safety and precision.

Residence and mobility: Residing in the Marchamalo area or having your own vehicle to travel to the workplace with ease.

Availability: Ability to work in rotating shifts (morning from 06:00 to 14:00 and afternoon from 14:00 to 22:00), according to the needs of the logistics operation.

As a reach truck operator, your role will be fundamental to ensuring that the flow of goods does not stop. The main responsibilities of the position include:

Placement of goods on high-level shelving: You will use the reach truck to place pallets in their corresponding slots, optimizing warehouse space.

Order picking: You will perform product collection following order instructions, ensuring that the goods arrive in perfect condition at the dispatch area.

Loading and unloading of vehicles: Handling machinery for the reception of supplies and the dispatch of finished products.

Replenishment of packaging areas: Ensuring that each colleague has the necessary material to carry out their work.

Inventory control: Use of radio frequency for the registration of goods movements, keeping the system updated in real time.

Basic machinery maintenance: Reporting any anomaly in the operation of the forklift to guarantee your own safety and that of other workers.
