Traffic Operator

Education: Higher Degree in Transport and Logistics or equivalent.

Technical knowledge: Transport regulations (driving and rest times, CMR conventions, weights and dimensions).

Proficiency with freight exchange platforms (Teleroute, Wtransnet, Timocom, etc.).

Profile:

• Accustomed to working under Just-in-Time (JIT) pressure.
• Immediate reaction skills, analytical ability, and clear communication in crisis or diversion situations.
• Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on commercial margin.

If you master the ins and outs of full-load and partial-load freight and know how to keep the wheels turning without incidents on the road, this project is for you.

• Customer demand management: Receiving, quoting, and providing fast responses to urgent shipping requests, proposing the optimal vehicle and route in record time.
• Loading and fleet assignment: Organizing hookups, full loads, or groupage shipments under the best cost-per-kilometer conditions, margin, and service quality.
• Route monitoring and tracking: Monitoring operations from start to finish, proactively intervening in the event of delays, customs issues, traffic peaks, or breakdowns.
• Portfolio optimization: Acquiring new loads, retaining shippers/routes, and negotiating with carriers to maximize profitability of assigned positions.
