What you'll do
Mission:
Guarantee rigorous compliance with the technical-industrial quality requirements of suppliers globally, supervising both the development phase (APQP/PPAP) and the series phase, and leading process audits to ensure the standards required by the automotive sector.
Main functions (Emphasis on Supplier Quality):
Supplier Quality in the Development Phase (SQD):
Management, approval, and monitoring of the APQP process and final PPAP validation for new products, components, or modifications.
Definition and maintenance of technical purchasing specifications.
Conducting process and facility audits at supplier sites.
Quality Assurance in the Series Phase:
Continuous evaluation of supplier performance and definition of improvement plans.
Management of non-conformities, root cause analysis, and monitoring of supplier 8D reports.
Execution of SCA audits and periodic requalifications of the supplier panel.
Technical Monitoring and Project Management (PPL):
Participation and involvement in the technical definition and validation of the product (DVP).
Cross-functional coordination of project milestones and schedules (APQP) to ensure delivery deadlines and technical requirements between Project Management and the technical area.
Support to Technical Procurement (Secondary):
Occasional support in technical approval, requests for quotation (RFQ), technological benchmarking, and technical assistance during customer audits.
How you'll work
