We want to incorporate a Crop Innovation Technician in Cabrera de Mar to generate specialized agronomic knowledge in the crops within their scope of action, through the design, monitoring, and analysis of trials, to identify and validate new varieties and management practices that improve crop quality, productivity, and efficiency, and facilitate their implementation by the Production teams.

• You will design and manage the agronomic trials linked to the crops of your specialty, in accordance with the objectives and needs of the organization.
• You will identify and evaluate new varieties that provide value and differentiation and are aligned with the company's production and quality objectives.
• You will define and validate, through trials, the most suitable agronomic management and fertigation strategies for each variety or genetics, seeking the balance between quality and productivity.
• You will determine the varieties, experimental conditions, phenotypic parameters, and other variables necessary for the correct design and evaluation of the trials.
• You will carry out the monitoring of the trials, applying the necessary adjustments in fertigation management and identifying possible phytopathologies, in coordination with the farm managers and agricultural technicians.
• You will ensure the correct application of the conditions defined for each trial and ensure the collection, traceability, and documentation of the data.
• You will analyze and interpret the results of the trials using the corresponding statistical tools, preparing reports and technical sheets that facilitate decision-making.
• You will transfer the generated knowledge to the production teams and accompany the implementation of new varieties, management practices, or solutions in commercial production.
• You will collaborate with the Production and Quality Control teams, providing technical support, identifying improvement opportunities, and proposing actions.
• You will maintain deep and up-to-date knowledge of the crops of your specialty, including varieties, production systems, market, technologies, and main sector trends.
• You will develop and maintain an external knowledge network with variety breeders, expert consultants, knowledge centers, and other producers.
• You will participate in transversal innovation projects and in projects linked to public funding programs.
