Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Higher Degree or a qualification of equal or higher level in humanities, art history, fine arts, or similar
  • Languages: English B2
  • Personal and group communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Proactivity and a positive attitude with visitors
  • Knowledge of mediation techniques
  • Permanent interest in cultural activity

The role

A leading national company in the management of cultural, artistic, and heritage spaces, projects, and facilities is selecting a professional for a mediation position in Cáceres. The main functions of the job are:

What you'll do

  • Designing and executing workshops and other educational and mediation activities
  • Advising on visit planning according to different types of audiences
  • Promoting interaction with audiences, adapting to their diverse needs
  • Conveying the concepts and keys that allow visitors to understand the context of the exhibited works so that they can interpret and reflect upon them
  • Designing and executing programs to make the visit more accessible and enriching for visitors
  • Developing didactic materials regarding the museum's content
  • Capturing potential new visitors and closing group visits through database review, mailing, and the creation of proposals
  • Supervising compliance with current regulations regarding museum visits by the public
