What we're looking for

What do you need to apply?

Have at least 3-4 years of experience as a Cook in hotels.
Languages: Spanish is indispensable (proficiency in other languages such as Catalan and English is valuable).
Techniques for food handling, preservation, and storage.
Knowledge of rice dishes and Mediterranean cuisine.
Dynamic person with the ability to work in a team.

Nice to have

Valuable Intermediate or Higher Degree in Hospitality.

The role

Come and be part of our great team, in the position of Cook for Sercotel Hotel Group at our Hotel Sorolla Palace in Valencia.

What you'll do

Preserve raw materials and products used in the kitchen.
Prepare, cook, and present culinary products.
Collaborate in the setup, service, and takedown of buffets.
Room service and cafeteria.
Demonstrable ability in cooking elaborate rice dishes and Mediterranean cuisine.
Responsibility in complying with the order presentation protocol.
Check and control kitchen equipment, reporting any issues.
Control and care for the preservation and use of products at your disposal.
Apply certain cleaning and maintenance tasks for their work area, especially related to compliance with hygiene standards imposed by public health.
