Requirements

What we're looking for

Having a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Second Maitre or Maitre in high-volume catering.
Indispensable command of English and Spanish, and valuable knowledge of other languages such as Catalan, French...
Knowledge of food safety regulations.
Knowledge of cocktails.
Dynamic person with a commercial profile and results-oriented
Good appearance, with high customer orientation and a vocation for service

Nice to have

Valuable Intermediate or Higher Degree in Hospitality or Cooking.

The role

Join our great team as a Second Maitre de Sala, where your main functions will be:

What you'll do

Supervising the hotel dining room and its daily operations (breakfast, menu, à la carte...), alongside the rest of the catering team.

Setting up and breaking down the point of sale at the hotel terrace and in the event halls

Supporting and assisting the maitre in team coordination and shift scheduling.

Greeting clientele, attending to customers, and suggestive selling.

Training the team and new hires

Controlling the service and being present during it

Ensuring the maintenance of the work area in optimal conditions to guarantee quality service.

Providing support in the preparation of inventories, as well as order management and coordination with suppliers.

How you'll work

Rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday with two days off per week
