Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the Telecommunications sector.
Experience in satellite communications systems (SATCOM), ground stations, or ground segment.
Experience in systems engineering, software, and integration of technological solutions.
Ability to obtain Personal Security Clearance (HPS).
Availability to travel nationally and internationally.

Nice to have

Knowledge of systems engineering standards and methodologies: ECSS, MBSE, and UML.
Experience with engineering and requirements management tools such as DOORS and Capella.
Knowledge of telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) systems.
Familiarity with monitoring and control (M&C) and network management (NMS) systems.
Knowledge of APIs and distributed systems architectures.
Upper-intermediate English level, mainly for the understanding and management of technical documentation in international environments.

The role

At SG Tech, we are looking to hire a Senior SATCOM Systems Engineer, specialized in ground segment, systems, and software, to participate in a strategic space sector project, developed for a world-leading company in advanced technological solutions.

You will join a highly specialized technological environment, participating in the development and integration of satellite communications (SATCOM) systems, within a project of international scope and high technical complexity.

Your activity will focus on the definition of functional architectures, the analysis and decomposition of requirements, and the integration of software solutions for the ground segment. You will work with monitoring and control (M&C) systems, network management systems (NMS), planning tools, and simulators, also participating in the definition of interfaces, use cases, and test requirements.

How you'll work
