What we're looking for

We are looking for professionals with a degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar, at least 10 years of experience in telecommunications and solid knowledge of digital communications, radio frequency, and SATCOM equipment integration.

It is necessary to be able to obtain Personal Security Clearance (HPS).

Possibility of obtaining Personal Security Clearance (HPS).

Nice to have

Knowledge of systems engineering standards and methodologies: ECSS, MBSE, DOORS, Capella, and UML.
Technical knowledge of antennas, high power amplifiers (HPA), low noise amplifiers (LNA), converters, and modems.
Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Medium-high level of English, especially for the comprehension and interpretation of technical documentation in international environments.

The role

We are looking to hire a Senior SATCOM Systems Engineer, with experience in satellite communications systems and the ground segment, to participate in technological projects specialized in the integration of ground stations and radio frequency (RF) systems.

The selected person will be responsible for defining technical requirements for antennas, RF equipment, modems, synchronization, and networks, as well as managing hardware and software interfaces, interface control documentation (ICD), and link budgets (link budgets).

They will also participate in integration activities, factory acceptance tests (FAT), deployment, and validation of ground stations, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.

How you'll work

The position will be based in San Fernando de Henares (Madrid), in a hybrid modality, with 40%-60% teleworking and availability to travel nationally and internationally.

Essential requirements

University degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the telecommunications field.
Experience in ground stations, SATCOM terminals, or gateways for satellite communications.
Experience in radio frequency (RF), digital communications, and equipment integration.
Knowledge and experience in hardware and software systems integration.
Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
