About the role

Location: Southeast (Residence in Murcia, Almería, or Granada required / Field Work)
Experience level: Junior / Associate Profile

At Solenis (following our integration with Diversey), we are a global leader in chemical solutions, industrial hygiene, and water treatment. In our Industrial Solutions division, we help leading companies in the food and beverage sector optimize their resources, ensure food safety, and protect the environment. Do you have technical training in the sciences but are passionate about working with people, client management, and business development? We are looking for a proactive and autonomous Account Manager to join our team in the Southeast region.

You will be Solenis's main point of contact for a portfolio of key clients in the food sector (dairy, meat, beverage industries, etc.) in the Southeast region (Murcia, Almería, Granada). Your goal will be to build long-term trusting relationships, ensuring that our solutions deliver maximum value at their production plants.

What you'll do

  • Management of a client portfolio within the food sector: You will manage key accounts in the regional food and beverage industry (dairy/cheese plants, meat processors, vegetable producers, and beverage bottlers).

  • Frequent and direct interaction with clients: You will act as their main point of contact and trusted advisor to coordinate technical and commercial service.

  • Building strong relationships: You will ensure account retention through regular visits to factories and proactive on-site support.

  • Understanding client needs: You will analyze their operational challenges to align them perfectly with Solenis's global chemical solutions.

Technical support as the foundation of service

  • On-site service visits: You will provide continuous follow-up of applications directly on the client's production lines.

  • Monitoring program performance: You will monitor advanced automated cleaning systems (CIP), surface cleaning (OPC), and other industry equipment such as pasteurizers, tangential filtration, etc.

  • Identifying technical improvements: You will audit process water treatment and the operation of wastewater treatment plants (WWTP / Wastewater), delivering real value in costs and sustainability.

Account development

  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation: You will identify new needs within existing accounts to implement cross-selling strategies.

  • Close collaboration with commercial teams: You will work as a team with senior sales professionals in later stages to expand the business and close large-scale strategic agreements.

What we're looking for

  • Education: University degree in Life Sciences or Engineering (Chemistry, Biology, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Veterinary Science, Food Technology, or related fields).

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years of demonstrable prior experience within the food industry (in quality roles, hygiene managers at food processing plants, facility engineering, or technical account management in the sector).

  • Skills: Strong organizational skills for autonomous work, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to communicate confidently with different types of stakeholders (from line operators to management).

  • Mobility: As this is a field role, a valid driver's license and availability for frequent travel within the region are essential.

What you'll get

  • Structured Career Plan: A stable position designed for you to naturally progress into commercial roles with greater responsibility within 2 to 3 years.

  • Continuous Training: Ongoing technical and commercial training with the support of a highly experienced local team.

  • Autonomy: Flexibility to manage your own visit schedule under a dynamic home office and field work model.

  • Real Impact: Join a leading multinational with a strong commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
