The scope of this role covers a broad and diverse sector environment including indoor/outdoor retail, specialist pool dealers, as well as commercial and hospitality pool environments (e.g. campsites, leisure centres). This may involve managing display setups, operating manual transport equipment (e.g. pallet jacks), and lifting/carrying stock (up to 25 kg). The position also requires frequent travel and attendance at industry events, which may occasionally require working early mornings, weekends, or outside standard business hours.
What you'll do

- Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market analysis across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and specialist pool dealers.
- Follow company KPIs for joint visit planning with key distributor sales teams.
- Negotiate with Store Managers of major national and international retail chains (e.g. Castorama, Leclerc, Auchan) to maintain existing listings and secure additional product placements.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings within the region, with flexible availability (early mornings, weekends, or outside standard hours as required).
- Ensure optimal in-store product presentation, using manual transport equipment (e.g. pallet jacks) where required for stock and display positioning (handling loads up to 25 kg).
- Plan routes and schedules to maximise coverage and minimise travel costs.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance updates.
- Use CRM tools to maintain customer records and track interactions.
- Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, and Operations & Supply teams to ensure timely delivery and order fulfilment.
- Plan and execute annual TRC safety training and compliance within the defined sales territory (ensuring in-store safe storage and handling of chemicals).
- Report all accidents, incidents, or injuries within a strict 12-hour window to the relevant EHS manager and Senior Sales Manager.
