Requirements

What we're looking for

+5 years developing with C# and .NET Framework/Core.
Mastery of object-oriented programming and .NET design patterns.
Experience building RESTful services and communication via WebSockets.
Experience with SignalR is valued.
Previous experience in on-premise software development for Windows and/or Linux environments.
Good handling of Visual Studio and working with relational databases (T-SQL, schemas, indexes...).
Knowledge of industrial protocols (MODBUS, OPC UA, IEC104...) will be a plus.
Familiarity with web development: HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSON.
Experience with Vue.js is valued.
Capacity to lead technical teams and coordinate external providers.
Good level of communication, technical judgment, and autonomy.
Proactive, problem-solving attitude oriented towards quality and product.

Medium/high technical English for documentation, meetings, and international coordination.

We are collaborating with a technology company located in Barcelona, specializing in the development of advanced industrial solutions, which has begun the design of a new proprietary product: a software system designed to be installed on-premise in industrial environments, with a powerful technical focus and high requirements for connectivity, performance, and reliability.

To lead this challenge from the core of the team, we are looking for a Senior or Semi-Senior profile in .NET development, who, in addition to programming with solid technical judgment, has the capacity to coordinate both an internal team and several external groups involved in the project. What you'll do

Job Mission

As Head of Development, your role will be twofold:

On one hand, you will be the technical reference in the development of the product, contributing code quality, architectural vision, and best practices.

On the other hand, you will assume the coordination of a hybrid technical team, formed by internal developers and external collaborators distributed across different teams.

Design, implement, and maintain the new product from scratch using .NET technologies.
Coordinate 2 internal developers and 4 external development groups.
Provide vision for architecture, scalability, and system maintenance.
Guarantee technical quality through code reviews, best practices, and testing.
Participate in key product decisions alongside the management team.
Ensure correct integration with industrial environments: PLCs, protocols, and deployment on local machines (Windows / Linux).

Work in close collaboration with the business team and the industrial environment.
