The role
At TEMPS we are looking for a Farm Manager whose primary responsibility will be the management and leadership of the human team, ensuring the correct operation of the farm under quality and productivity standards.
What you'll do
- Lead, coordinate, and motivate the team, ensuring high performance and a good working environment.
- Organization of daily work, task assignment, and monitoring of team performance.
- Supervision of compliance with production and animal welfare protocols.
- Coordination with the general manager to achieve production objectives.
Additionally, under your responsibility:
- Control of feeding and the food management system. ✅
- Supervision of production data. 📊
- Control of sow 🐷 and piglet handling.
- Monitoring of order, cleanliness, and hygiene in the maternity unit.
- Supervision of facility maintenance. 💡
- Compliance with legal and environmental regulations. 📜
✅ Key requirements
- Demonstrable experience in team management
- Experience in production environments (preferably pig farms).
- Leadership capacity, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving objectives.
- Communication and organizational skills.
- Availability (including weekends depending on shifts). ⏰
- Valuable: Type B driver's license and own vehicle.
