Technical-Functional Business Applications Analyst

• University degree in the field of knowledge.
• Previous experience in management and/or coordination of technological projects, especially in the field of management applications.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle technologies: Oracle Database, Oracle APEX, and PL/SQL.
• Ability to liaise with functional and technical profiles.
• Experience in the coordination of teams and external providers.
• Professional competence in both English and Basque.

• Experience in educational environments: knowledge of the university system (management, teaching, and research areas).
• Knowledge of other application development platforms.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and continuous integration (CI/CD).
• Experience in data modeling, functional analysis, and documentation.
• Knowledge of legislation regarding personal data protection and security (GDPR, ENS), security standards (ISO 27000), and IT Service Management systems (ITIL).

Within the framework of the Information Technology Unit of the University of Deusto Bilbao campus, we are looking to hire a person with a technical-functional profile for the coordination of development and maintenance projects for business applications, with a special focus on Oracle (Database, APEX) technologies, but with a transversal vision that allows them to manage solutions in other platforms and contexts.

Their work will be key in the digital transformation of university processes, acting as a bridge between functional users, the internal technical team, and external technology providers.

• Coordination of development, evolution, and maintenance projects for corporate university management applications.
• Liaison with functional units for needs analysis and requirements definition.
• Supervision of technical tasks in Oracle environments (mainly Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and Oracle DB).
• Coordination of internal and external teams (technology partners) ensuring deadlines, quality, and alignment with institutional objectives.
• Control and monitoring of the application lifecycle, from conception to operation and continuous improvement.
• Functional and technical documentation of projects and implemented solutions.
