What you'll do

🎯 FUNCTIONS:

  • Process the acquisition of all types of bibliographic materials through a correct investment of the assigned budget for making available and disseminating the resources necessary for the development of user activities

  • Process bibliographic materials in the KOHA LMS and/or any other available tool for their subsequent dissemination and use.

  • Review and guarantee the correct placement, preservation, and inventory of all collections, ensuring their custody.

  • Parameterize, administer, and develop the KOHA LMS, as well as any other available technology, tool, and/or digital collection, including the CRAI Library website, etc.

  • Maintain the digital collection, hardware, and software for their correct operation

  • Attend to information/documentation demands of a general or specialized nature, both in person and virtually.

  • Organize, facilitate, and promote the use of collections in any format.

  • Promote the dissemination and communication of all CRAI Library collections through different channels and/or tools to increase their use by involving users.

  • Develop training actions to provide knowledge and training in the use of available information resources and tools so that users develop the necessary skills and are able to manage their information effectively and efficiently.

  • Support teaching activity by facilitating the use of specialized tools and content in their areas of activity.

  • Support and advise researchers in the handling of the information sources necessary for the development of their activity.

  • Support the monitoring of the University's scientific production through the use of library tools

  • Guarantee the placement, preservation, and custody of collections and inventory management

  • Contribute to the development of the CRAI Library as a Resource Center for learning, research, and innovation.

  • Be an active agent in the development of all activities that contribute to offering an effective and efficient quality service

  • Use technology as a basic element for the development of activities, enhancing the technological characteristics of the CRAI Library.

  • Participate and collaborate with professional entities, library networks, and providers for mutual development and benchmarking development

  • Ensure the correct use and maintenance of infrastructure and equipment.
