What we're looking for

Previous Experience: between 3 and 5 years in SEO projects, including technical audits, content optimization, and results analysis. Experience in GEO and measuring visibility in AI will be valued.
Degree: University Degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, Computer Science, or related areas. Specialized training in SEO, Digital Marketing, or Artificial Intelligence will be valued.
Languages: B2 English.
Knowledge:
- Technical, On-Page, Off-Page SEO, and web architecture.
- Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Semrush, Ahrefs, or Sistrix.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and structured data applied to SEO.
- GEO fundamentals and the functioning of search engines and generative AI platforms.
- Digital analytics, KPI interpretation, and reporting tools.
- Use of generative AI in SEO/GEO tasks.
Profile: an analytical and results-oriented person, organized, autonomous, and able to prioritize. We are looking for someone proactive, resourceful, with good communication skills, and who enjoys working in a team. We highly value technological curiosity and the desire to innovate and continue learning.

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

Work Area: Villaviciosa de Odón campus (Madrid).
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, from 09:00 to 18:30, and Friday, from 09:00 to 15:00 (3 days on-site + 2 days remote work).
Contract: permanent, 40 h/week
Salary range: to be assessed based on the experience provided.

At the Universidad Europea de Madrid, we are looking for an SEO & GEO Specialist for our Villaviciosa de Odón campus (Madrid). Your mission will be to manage SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) projects so that the university gains visibility in search engines and AI platforms. You will work on technical optimization, content, and results analysis to attract qualified traffic and improve acquisition, in coordination with other teams.

What you'll do

Technical SEO: analyze and optimize crawling, indexing, rendering, web architecture, internal linking, structured data, and web performance.
On-Page SEO: search for positioning opportunities through keyword research, search intent analysis, page optimization, and competitor analysis.
Content SEO: prepare briefings, propose content improvements, and optimize semantic relevance, quality, and authority according to E-E-A-T criteria.
GEO: analyze and improve the visibility of the brand and its academic offering in search engines and generative AI platforms, including mentions, recommendations, and citations.
Off-Page SEO: detect linkbuilding opportunities, brand mentions, and presence in relevant sources to reinforce digital authority.
SEO/GEO Analytics: monitor positioning, visibility, organic traffic, traffic arriving from AI, and conversions, and detect improvement opportunities for acquisition.
Project Management: coordinate actions and implementations with the Product, Content, UX, and Web Development teams, and follow up on results.
Innovation and Automation: use artificial intelligence and automation tools so that SEO/GEO processes, analysis, and reporting are more efficient.
