Accounts Payable Technician

• Work area: Villaviciosa de Odón campus (Madrid)
• Schedule: Mon-Thu, 09:00 to 18:30h and Friday, 09:00 to 15:00h (3 days on-site + 2 days remote work)
• Contract: permanent, 40h/week.

At the Universidad Europea de Madrid we are looking for an Accounts Payable Technician for our Villaviciosa de Odón campus (Madrid), whose mission will be to guarantee the accuracy and efficiency of operations, process and control incoming requests, orders, and invoices, and ensure the execution of payments.

• Management of the supplier portal and assistance with the registration and modification of third-party data
• Process accounts and outgoing payments in accordance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform daily financial transactions, including the verification, classification, calculation, accounting, and recording of accounts payable data
• Track orders and record invoices
• Reconcile the accounts payable general ledger to ensure that all payments are correctly accounted for and recorded.
• Verify discrepancies and resolve supplier billing issues
• Manage the payment of overdue invoices
• Generate reports and financial statements detailing the status of accounts payable
• Supplier customer service through any of the established communication channels.
